well, here goes--any and all comments welcome.

I don't remember when this one was taken...I think the summer of '01. I'm on the far left.

This winter of '02/03...or about a year and a half or so ago. (eek!).

Sept '03

And these two are from last month

I made a concious decision to go long about a year or so ago. It's been longish before but right now is about the longest its ever been. Durring the 'bad phase' I got a lot of crap from people, but now that everyone is used to it they mostly complement me on it--even tell me they're jealous! I've always liked long hair myself and I guess that's all that matters.

Oh wow, you're extremely attractive--long hair or short. You look a bit like Jeanu Reeves in the last 3 pictures. How long are you planning to grow it out?

Thank you. I don't really have a planned length, but I'm not planning on cutting it any time soon. Right now the goal is to get it long enough that I can tie all of it back.

I second Jennas opinion. You´ll look just smashing in a ponytail. I think it´s a very distinguished look for a guy, any age and any circumstance!

I third Jenna's opinion, and can I just add that you look better with longer hair; it really brings out your features. Well done for so far, and good luck for the rest!

Thanks for the comments guys.

That's the problem with being fair skinned--you don't absorb sun light, you just sizzle. Though I am working on it.

I've probobly been growing it for about a year or a little more. From the sept to the march pics it's probobly grown 4 or 4 1/2 inches, so my hair grows pretty fast. It was pretty crazy up until last month, when I was able to start tying it back a little.

Sweetie you look gorgeous. Where I live it's so hard to find guys with long hair that looks nice and yours definately does. You're gonna have girls all over you. The look really suits you. Congrats. BTW is that your natural color or did you dye it? I've always been envious of black hair.

the color is partly due to the quality of the picture. I'm a dark-reddish/auburn color which I dyed black about 3 months ago, so the roots are starting to show. I'm very envious of black hair as well.

Hair looks great! Don't listen to the person who mentioned you need sun...if you don't absorb it, then enjoy the fair skinned look...you don't want skin cancer man. Take it from me.

wow. you look really good. i mean. you're good looking to begin with so you can pull off a lot of different hairstyles. including long hair.

and dont feel bad about the pale skin thing. im much paler than you are... and i dye my hair black as well. which makes me look paler. i like the pale skin thing.

Being redundant I know, but I want to concur with Benji and Jacqui (and Crayola) about the sun. I live in Florida, but I am not designed to safely absorb the sun to the extent (and intensity) that it shines here. Not a good combination. This year I started trying to take better care of my skin (in part by staying out of the sun as much as possible). Pale is not unhealthy. Actually, tans are the telltale sign of sun damage. Tans are overrated. The passing of the tanned ideal is long overdue.

Crayola--your hair's looking good; I think you'll love it even more when you can put it in a ponytail.

KingVyse--I suspect you'll be taking a hike soon (whether you want to or not).

I agree, tans are overrated. But I may just be saying that because I put vampires to shame with my skin color. Anyway I think pale skin is gorgeous and looks so classicly beautiful. Just my 2 cents

I know what you mean by the "bad phase", I was so tempted to cut my hair or shave my head during that phase, my hair was curly so, I looked like a poodle too.

but the patience paid off when my hair got longer.
My hair is about your length, bit longer.

All I can say is on a bad hair day, remind yourself of why you have long hair.

My sister (whom is fair fair fair skinned) loves the pale look so much she would use a translucent powder that ever so subtly makes her even paler. When she would dye her naturaly blond hair brown it would make even more of a contrast.

Ive had women come up to me and say my milk white skin is so beautiful. Soooo, not everyone prefers a tan.

Besides on redheads and blonds tans look silly...Im sorry I really do think blonds shouldnt darken themselves to get the "california beach babe" look. It doesnt look natural to me.
