i recommend u should only wear stocking caps when u sleep cause they can damage hair if worn too long which can result in hairloss. stocking caps have little holes so yo hair can breathe, durags dont. wear durags wen goin out. holla back.

i agree, during the day i let my hair breathe. but i prefer stocking caps for sleeping.

I put my stockin cap on for 30 when i first wake up then i take it off and put it back on when im sleep.

Na stockin caps suck. If you use them to sleep they mess your hair up. Trust me just buy the durag with the holes in them because they are especially made for your hair to breathe more.Plus stockin capsare to tight on your head and stops blood flowin to your head. Stick to durags

I like both. The Durag is more comfortable and looks better to me, but I also like the better coverage that you will get from a stocking cap.

I wear my stocking cap whenever I'm not brushing and when I take it off my hair looks real tight. Especially since my hair has grown some and it presses my hair down but it seems to be doing a good job so why do you say don't leave it on longer than needed???...Air passes thru it

I agree wit Jigga. Air does pass thru stockin caps.

The only problem I have with those is how I get a headache from the cut circulation.
