Trying L's Method

Yo young L I just wanted to know how you dealt with the curling of your waves as you grew your hair.Cuz im tryin the method to make my waves deep. I've been growin my hair for bout a month and my waves look much deeper but they seem to be curling and lookin nasty.

I got the same problem since I'm growin my hair out too. My last cut was 2 months and a week ago, and I was about to get it cut a couple days ago, but then I saw L's post. I figured it was worth a try and since I'm already half way ther, why not? Atleast until school starts in Sept. Then I gotta be lookin fresh...

So L... how u control this sh*t?

Been growin my hair for a month. I'm gettin a cut tomorrow. Pics will be posted.

If your hair starts nappin up jus brush dat sh!t. It shouldn't look too nasty if ya got a nice pattern. Mine don't.

You can also(if you got trimmers) line yaself up in da front and back.

It don't look real real bad, but Im just sayin it could look better if I had been cuttin it regularly. Thas why I said it better pay off, since I been goin around not lookin my best.

Yo bx.. u still on this method? I think Im gona quit, cuz I realy want a haircut. My hair is just too long for me too handle it now.

Lol Im closin in on 9 weeks with no cut! Thas way to long to go with no cut.. I almost made it tho.. I really dont see how L pulled/is gon pull this off cuz the hair is just so hard to control when it gets this long. Im tired of fightin my hair.. Lol.. so I'll tell ya'll how the cut went.

Aight.. so I got the cut. It went pretty good. It was a good feeling to see all that hair falling off my head. My old barber moved to a new shop so tried a diff dued. I was suprised that it took him only 10 minutes to do my hair! Even tho he was quick he did a good job. I lost some waves tho... mainly the ones on the sides which is prolly cuz those were the newest ones that I had been trying get thru-out July since the sides were my main focus to improve. They be back tho..

The top and the back look real good. The barber didn't kno what a dark Caesar was so I just told him even all over at a number 2. He did that altho im not sure if he cut on the grain everywhere.. not sure. But it didn't really matter too much I dont think.

The cut was a little shorter than I wanted, but it looks nice. I was suprised by how long my sideburns are now tho! I guess since they had a longer time to grow ther was more hair down ther, so more for the barber to work with. See cuz I hadn't had a line up since my last cut back in June! So u kno the sideburn area and the back of neck was grizzly. Lol Im real happy with the cut tho, and the waves look even better short.

Damn.. this got long real quick, sory didn't mean to type this much...

yeah my hair in the back is thinin too....
