Hi guys
I was wondering.....what do you all think are the best moisturizing shampoos and conditioners? I use the Aussie Moist shampoo and conditioner for dry hair. It`s okay, but I was wondering if there were any better moisturizing products for dry (not necesarily damaged) hair.

Someone recommended Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner for my thick coarse hair (I even came here and asked for opinions on Kenra products before making the purchase). It`s very thick and moisturizes very well. After I used it my hair stayed soft and moisturized for days.

I normally use Paul Mitchelle`s detangler, and just use Kenra 2 times a week as a deep conditioning. It works pretty well so far.

Wella makes something called Ph.d, it`s supposed to breing the ph balance of your hair back to noraml after chemical services, but can be used anytime. It`s really great!

My hair was severely dry and damaged. My hairdresser recommended "Bed Head Moisture Maniac" shampoo and conditioner. It`s wonderful. My hair has never felt so soft. It`s looking better and better all the time.

I have the world`s driest hair. Not only is it naturally wavy/curly but it is coarse and it is higlighted.

Over the years I have tried just about every moisturizing product I could find. I dabbled in Abba (CremeMoist) and Framesi and Biolage, Matrix, Redken and TIGI, to name a few.

Here is what works for me. Please note that these products may not work for you or your hair type. However, if you have my type of hair it is good starting point:

1. ARTec Smoothing Shampoo (softens & feels like fresh white cream on my hair)
2. Aveda Shampure (moisturizes but not oily. Silky and soft hair).
3. Edwin Paul Luxury (Reminds me very much of the ARTec Smoothing. Smells great and very moisturizing).
4. Phytologie S88 (Good stuff. A little pricey and hard to find but works wonders on my hair).
5. Giovanni 50/50. All natural yet it moisturizes.
6. Paul Penders Chamomile. Soft and gentle and adds moisture.
7. Aubrey Organic Honeysuckle Rose. Great moisturizing properties and no chemicals.

Conditioners

1. Aveda Curessence (never fails me).
2. ARTec Smoothing (great with the ARTec smoothing shampoo).
3. Edwin Paul Deep conditioner
4. Aveda Cherry Almond bark. (Moisturizes and enhances my waves - go figure).
5. Bed Head Moisture Maniac. Good moisturizing properties for my hair. Shampoo doesn`t work for me but the conditioner is very good for my hair.
6. ARTec Moisture Pak - magic moisture in a pack. Do not use the large bottle. Buy the individual packs. They are more concentrated and you can see the actual coffee flakes.

Thanks for the topic. Great subject. I am always looking to expand into new products so thank you all for sharing your experiences.

Best wishes,
Karen
