I'm surprised to say it's not bad at all! It did heat up quickly, and my hair is smoother & less cooked looking than it sometimes looks with my Hot Tools. For the price, I would recommend it, especially for someone who can't afford to spend more. Oh, it was nice for giving a little flip too. :) -peashelle
