| After reading several postings on here I learned that products containing the ingredient Sodium Lauryl Sulfate were very drying for your hair. Is Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate the same thing? My shampoo has that ingredient, but doesn't exactly say "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate". Thanks! |

| yes ammonium lauryl sulfate is also a very harsh surfacant and is recommend that you not use it if u have severly dry hair. it make be ok for use once in a while but has bad long term effects. |
