I really want my hair cut shorter than what it is into the short curly close to the head cut,just like how the rapper Eve used to wear her hair.I also wanted to dye it like maybe a bright red or just a color that'll really stand out,oh and I'm African American.Do you all think that would look good or be a good idea to get done?

I'm African-American too and wear my hair in a very short, cut close to the head afro. I love wearing my hair short.
The style you are describing is a cute short style. I say go for it girl. The one thing I wouldn't do is color ir red or blonde or whatever. To me Black women look better in our natural dark hair color, but some might disagree with me on that.
