I am a teenager who has thick curly Honey Blonde Hair, Right now when it's wet it hits my sholders (it curls when it's wet, even when it's dripping) when it's straightened it goes about 2 or 3 inches below my sholders.

I normally wear it up or partially up but i've gotten bored with it. Just a couple nights ago i straightened it for the first time in a long time. It looked great and i looked wow. Bu ti noticed it wieghed down my face. which looks similar to Mischa Barton ( Marissia from the O.C.) but a little pudgier and i know i have fabulous eyes, lips and cheek bones but with so much hair it hides it.

I've been doing some thinking I might want my hair thined and then made a little shaggy about and inch or 2 above my sholders. I would probably straighten it more often but... I'm afraid that might be killer to my hair. My hair is one of my best and most noticed assets. What do you think of this idea? of the straightened shag?
