Your hair may be only wavy in certain areas of your head, not all over it. When my hair was a little longer than my close cropped afro that I wear now, I got a finger wave perm. You might need "some help" to get your hair wavy everywhere on your head, maybe a perm, or put your hair in rollers (if it is long enough), to get a full head of wavy hair. ------------- .
