Hi Brad,I saw your post on perms for men and have a question about that subject for you. I'm a swimmer too (well, not too active but in the pool a few times a week, especially for teaching). I have about 3,5 inch brown hair, which is naturally curly. As I mentioned in a post on this board, I'm looking for a method to keep my hair more in control because it's quite unruly, especially after it has been wet (like in the swimmingpool). My question to you: does a perm gives you more control over your hair when you have been in a swimmingpool? I mean: does it look very frizzy after you have been in there or do curls form after you get out? Perhaps a silly question, but I have no experience on perming and wanted to be sure about some things before going through with a perm.I hope to hear from you soon! Please leave a message on the board or send me a private mail: Michael_peter60@hotmail.com Thanks!Greetings,Michael

BUT REMEMBER. IF GETTING A PERM, DO NOT USE CONDITIONER FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS.IF YOU HAVE ANY OHTER QUESTIONS YOU CAN EMAIL ME ON TEENHAIRMAGIC@AOL.COM.GOOD LUCKHEATHER,PALM BEACH GARDENS,FLAGOOD LUCK

I'm 15 and My hair is naturally very thick and wavy and it's probably 4 or 5 inches long during season and I let it grow out a few inches between seasons. I usually wear a swim cap. But if I don't, like when I'm fooling around in the water my permed hair definitely forms scads of wet curls. And I notice that if I shake my wet head the curls mutiply into a bunch of glistening ringlets. So I guess I'd say I've got more control. I hope this answers your question and I understand entirely your concern about how it'll look and how the perm will hang on your head, man. You don't need to apologize!
