Hey guys, I've been reading over the posts here and I haven't seen many people recommend viviscal. Basically I just want to improve the condition of my hair (and reduce fall out), and get maximum growth. I was about to buy it, but I dont want to waste my money if there's a better way. If anyone can give me suggestions that would be great. Thank you
Tracy

Hi Tracy,
I think Viviscal contains fish oils rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. You can do as well (and better) by eating cold-water fish. Biotin is reputed to help speed the rate of hair growth. (All of this assumes an otherwise balanced diet.)
HTH, and let us know how your hair grows!

I agree. Have some Atlantic salmon or haddock for dinner tonight. It's yummy and good for you. (You may also be supporting my local economy -- I live in Nova Scotia.) Canned sardines and kippered herring have lots of healthy oils in them too. Smoked Atlantic salmon is delicious and available year-round. (It tastes much better than any supplement you could buy.) I take a halibut liver oil capsule every day. I don't know if it makes my hair any healthier, it's just something my parents made my sister, brother and I take when we were children and I've continued the habit.
Forgive me for plugging a local business (and one of my former advertising clients), but Clearwater (www.clearwater.ca) ships delicious, fresh cold water seafood internationally. Healthy, delicious, and reasonably priced.
