Hi, I have dark brown hair and i want to get highlights but i want something different. I want blonde highlights like how Christina Aguilera and Sarah Michelle Gellar have the red, but i wanna know if it would look ok cuz my hair is curly, but i straighten it alot. If you could give me some advice i would really like it, thanx.

I say forget the highlights. We have enough of that going
around. Most highlights if you ask me make your hair look
unnatural, messy and PHONEY. And they're expensive!

Don`t listen to whoever the hell told you NOT to get highlights! I think highlights are cool! BUT get it done by tin foil not cap. Cap gives you more of a dye job, and tin foil just lightens up your hair!! I have dark hair and I`ve had both blond and red....I`ve even had them together and I thought it looked really cool!

Hi,

I agree with Princess Daisy on this one. Highlights, if done by a pro, can be awesome. It is very hot right now to mix and match colors and as Princess says, red and blonde together is phat on the right skin tones.

If you want highlights go to a color pro and ask them to work with your skin tones and your current hair color and the results can be wonderful.

I also agree that hightlights that are done at home by someone with no experience may not turn out as well which is probably the other comment above.

Best wishes,
Karen
