As said in my subject--my hair is so thick that if you look at my head from the side, my hair doesn`t go down my back, it sticks waaaay out !!! It is healthy, and so many people have told me to trim it, but i really dont want to cut my hair. If I trim it, what will be the difference?It already has a straight bottom edge, but is impossibly wavy. I dont know how or where to get it thinned, plus what if it gets thinned and becomes that wispy wimpy hair??Some people have told me to moisten it, like put oils in it, but my hair is oily enough already. I have a feeling that even if I straighten it, it will still be thick.WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

My hair is thick, you can get your hair thinned out by any hairstylist. Do you have a defusser?? (its a piece that goes on the hairdrier), it will help alot.

Unlike most ppl with thick hair that think they have to keep it long so it weighs down, I chopped a foot off my hair, and it doesn`t look all that think any more. I wouldn`t recomend it, if your scared to do it! I was like let just try it, if it doesn`t look good I`ll grow it out! But I like it, its easy to maintain and its not as knotty or a thick.

Hum...I don`t know what to say! Do you style your hair wet or dry?? I know if you style your hair dry all you are doing it is teasing it and making it go puffy! Style it when its wet and LEAVE IT ALONE! don`t play with it!

I`m at a loss of words and dont` really know what to say to help you! :( sorry!

o hey thanks for the tips! i just read your post on like page 22, which i picked randomly. Ive got really thick hair too, so i was going to get it cut quite short. But how does the thinning thing work? is it expensive? or are there any hair shampoos that do the opposite of all those volume things out there? :|
o, and what does a diffuser look like? is it that thing where the nossle thing on the hair dryer go`s thin at the end, or is it the one which has lots of spikes to let the air through? i really dont know.

I used to have the same problem with my hair thinning your hair shouldnt cost that much believe me it works and yes there is a shampoo out there that does the opposite of volume shampoos and conditioners try Pantene Smooth And Sleek it works but you have to use it all the time do not change to another shampoo while you are using it believe me once your hair is fixed it should not go back to being puffy as long as you use this shampoo and conditioner.

um, i have to use colour care shampoo coz my hair is coloured, can i mix the colour care/smooth and sleek shampoo together? or is there something that works with both these problems?
