my hair used to be long and layered...but because i had to many dead ends and wanted a change i cut it to about my jaw line( you know the style that u curle out). but my hair is so think that it doesn`t look good, i wish the hair dresser would have told me it would have looked bad!!!!!!!!!!!

You could go back to the stylist and have your hair thinned (usingg thinning shears) it should help it curl like you desire.
