That the neck doesn`t have longer hair, should I undercut it first and let the top grow over the short part? And how do I shape it to prevent it looking boring?

Jett, my 17 year old son just went through this himself. We found that it looked better to let the top keep growing while trimming the back and sides close. (No Clippers!) Just trimming it with scissors. He`s just now at the point where it looks good and he is finally able to let the back grow. Good Luck and keep lots of gel around for those bad hair days you`ll be fighting.
