Smaller curlers make smaller curls and larger ones more like body waves that you are asking about. Best to go to a good hair salon and ask about perming and get it done there. You could really damage your long awaited locks with a bad perm. If you just want a preview of what it would look like. Try some rollers and some setting lotion. Velcro rollers are easy to find. Use larger ones and let your hair dry naturally without a dryer. Some rollers will mat into your hair if you use heat. Have a video night in to wash your hair and set it. You will get an idea of how it would look and what size rollers you would need. If you don't like it, it will wash out. -------------
