Ok, here`s the deal. My hair is shoulder length and layered, and I`m really trying to go for the whole flipped out and back, "sort-of-70s-retro-but-not-really" thing. You know, sort of how Gwen Stefani`s used to be like, when she just had it pink, parted on side, over one eye? Know what I mean? Anyway, I`ve tried rollers, a wide barrel curling iron, a round brush, just about everything I can think of to get to flip sort of out and back. It will look ok for about ten minutes after I do it, but then it will curl back to my more natural Jennifer Aniston look from about five years ago, which frankly I am sick of. II use a lot of hairspray (ew!), but it just doesn`t do jack squat. Can anyone who has this stlye or knows anything about it give me a little help? Does anyone even know what I`m talking about? I got a picture, you should be able to tell which pic I`m talking about.

Ask your stylist to razor cut your ends to flip them out. I have that same style(I also am a Gwen fan), and thats what my stylist did. It does make the ends thin so you need to take care of them! Hope I helped!
