No matter where in Britain I go, I always seem to be the only boy with long hair. My mate Jobie had long hair, but due to peer pressure he`s had it cut. everybody on my dad`s side of the family is bald, and I`m the only one with long hair, which I occasionally tie into a pony-tail.

I get a lot of hassle about this, cos it`s not considered, ahem, "N-O-R-M-A-L" for a boy to have long flowing locks like myself (about shoulder length, which even I know isn`t that long).

Anyway, my problem is that it`s a quiff, with my parting on the right. My mum thinks I should have it cut, but my dad (who is bald. Hah hah!) is happy for me to have it long, IF I re-style it. Thing is, I can`t find a style that I like. Any help?

Also, the tips of my hair curl, which might be because they`re growing against my shoulders, but I doubt this. Any help on how I can straighten them out, and reduce the amount of Frizz I get?

here`s a good comprimise for long and short hair- the picture`s a little dark, but the side bar picture is a little better. (Barry Watson from 7th Heaven, the WB network in the USA)
