My Hair is naturally wavy and I have had it straightened a few times at the salon but I have also been using straightening irons to help it stay straight but now I have loads of split ends and even though I have it trimmed the split ends just wont go and I am desperately trying to grow my hair so I don`t want to have it cut!!!

Hi Vicky,

There are products which supposedly protect your hair (to some degree) against applied heat like straigtening irons but I have no idea how well they work. Maybe some people who have tried them can answer this question. I would think that no product will work perfectly well, so you may find yourself choosing which you prefer more -- to have longer hair, or to wear your hair straight. Many people find naturally wavy long hair to be beautiful, perhaps one day you will find yourself to be among them.
