calling all people wioth imaginations. This summer i really want to die my hair and do something wierd with it. i would love dreadlocks but unfortunatly it has to all come out by september when i go back to school. I live in the UK so many of the products suggested here cannot be obtained.
I also have medium length medium brown colored hair. it is gonna be hard to die it any colour but i really really want to. something like pink, blue or purple especially as i am going to a 3 day rock festie.
help me the wierder the better, braids would be cool. Money can`t be too expensive though.

well, i always do wierd crap to my hair, so here`s your expert. one thing i love is braids, because they`re not like dreads and impossible to take out, so dying roots and rebraiding is always easy. I would say either bleach it with a kit, then add color FX highlights... like maybe blue or something, or get manic panic, or whatever funky color you want, streak or drench it, and then do braids. if you`re really brave I had this idea to braid my hair and then put color on so it was like striped, but i`d test that with a 1-day dye like komb in (straight from the bottle) first.

oh, and if you`re really fun, take some decently lightweight wire, stick it in the braids, and do a coolio type thing

put all of your hair into a couple of ponytails then spike them up on end to give you that "i just got electrocuted look"
