Hey, I have a dark brown color hair and I want to go lighter, maybe a dark blonde. I am fairly busy and I want the easiest way to get this color and easiest maintenance with this color. I know touch ups with roots are neccessairy but is there a process which would make touch ups needed less often?? and would many, thikc highlights work better and then my roots wouldnt be as noticable when they came in...
My hair grows fairliy fast also. Any advice, help would be great! Thanks*

I had my dark brown almost black hair
lightened to blonde and let me tell you it was a pain in the ass to keep up. I had to color my roots every 4 weeks, but if you really want to go blonde, I recommend going to a salon to get the best results since there is a high possibility that you might need a toner applied to your hair before they apply the blonde dye in order to get that beautiful blonde color instead of a funky orange color. Highlights might make your roots less noticeable
depending on how dark of a brown your hair is ?
