I often wondered is brushing hair good or bad . Ive head some say its good and others say its bad.
Which is it?

hmmm...it kinda depends...i myself have curly hair and whenever i comb my hair it makes it frizzy like mad so looks wise for me its terrible.

Now condition wise well i know thats its basically bad to do it when your hair is wet since it is more fragile then and its more likely to break....but i don`t believe it is TOO bad when its dry though.

Don`t brush dry hair! Only brush it if it is wet or MAJORLY tangled, like if you get up in the morning and don`t have time to wash your hair...

whoah there. According to anyone who knows what they`re talking about (hairstylists, experts on this site, whoever) you should NEVER brush your hair when it`s wet. Dry is the best time. All that matters is HOW you brush it--it isn`t brushing itself that can hurt hair. If you brush from the tips to the roots then you won`t hurt your hair and you`ll get tangles out much easier.

tiggerules99 your um..really stupid! just want you to know that. when your hair is wet THAN YOUR HAIR IS VERY WEAK. you cant brush your hair when its wet unless you want damaged hair. you only comb it! you could brush your hair when your hair is dry cause your hair is more stronger! and im kinda suprised how stupid tiggerules99 is cause i think most ppl know your hair is the weakest when its wet! anywayzz...when your hair is dry you could brush it but not toooo much. and your ganna have to do it slowly. you start from bottom of ur hair and work your way up. thats a good way to do it. and you should get brush without those small little ball on the metals. its really good for ur scalp. hope i helped! :)
