hi my name is candice i live in austraila i was born in new zealand but am now living and going to school in aussie ,after reading lots of posts about going short i did my hair was just about waist lenght and was getting susch a pain to keep looking good ,i had felt like this for a while as it started to get mid back length i really couldnt be bothered with the time taken to maintain my long hair but due to being scared to get it off thinking that maybe later i would regret doing so.and also the reaction of everyone around me!! but i finally made up my mind after reading this teen site and had worked out from other peolples suggested styles ones for myself.i kept with the popular choices but end up getting style number 4290 and i am rapt with it it was one of the scarest days of my life but it is also the day i become me yes me not the long hair girl or the girl with the nice long hair ,i was able to be me just me ,also it is summer time here and short styles with the fringe are really the hot and inn thing over here long hair has slowly been on the way out amongest teens over here but the blonde stread/highligths look is still here ,so thank you all and thank you for this site ..ps if you are thinking of getting a fringe or going shorter all i can say is dont wait go and do it you wont regret doing it i can tell you that ..
