I have black hair (Although sometimes it looks brown) and I want to dye it lightish blonde. How light can I go without damaging it too much and how do I reverse the damage? Can I dye black over it anytime I like like you can with unnatural dyed? Who here has dyed blonde hair? How do you do it and do you have pictures?
Also, my hair is messy and keeps curly up at the end, especially at the back ends. It makes me look like an 80`s reject. I really want to straighten out. I`m growing it out, will they get weighed down if my hair gets long enough?

Going from a very dark colour like yours, to blond is going to be tricky. You need it bleached to get the blonde and thats going to be very damaging. I wouldnt recommend making that sort of colour change, you can`t reverse it! If you do choose this, to make up for it, you will have to care for your hair very carefully, using intensive conditioners, colour protecting shampoos, and making sure that you cut down your use of electric appliances which can fry your hair. If you skip this advise your hair will look lifeless dry and will just hang there. Seriously consider other options. If you have longer hair it can sometimes weigh down any curlyness, and if the curls are short they will bounce up. This only works for curls on the top though because the weight from the bottom is pulling them taught, on the bottoms you should clamp strightening irons. :|
