Hi, Just got my haircut and number 2 all the way up on the sides, and pretty short on top maybye about and 1 1/2 - 2inches. Anyways, how long should I let my hair grow out. I have always wanted to have my hair all one length and then the messy look with blond highlights, but I never have the patience to let my hair grow to a length that would make that look look good. Any advice would be much appreciated. Also how long would it take for my hair to grow out to that length, it grows pretty fast I think.

Since I am guessing you are a guy I think you should grow it out until it is about 2 or 4 inches long and then get it cut into a choppy look. You would also have to styleit with a wax or gel probably. Kinda like Alex`s hair in the band "The Calling"
