Hi. I`m wondering whether or not I should get a new hairstyle for the summer. It`s been the same length and style since the 2nd grade (I am now 9th). I have a little less than shoulder length black hair. It`s been highlighted brown and I`m around 5`1", medium sort of build. Someone`s told me that I should grow it since it`s been the same since "forever" but my friends say I should keep it. I personally want a slight but not drastic change. Suggestions?

What about layers to frame your face. You could add bangs but not the heavy straight across the forhead, just a few soft bang.

You could go to chin length with it slightly shorter in the back and some short bangs.
