i have brown shoulder-length hair, and i ALWAYS wear it in a ponytail or a messy bun. it really is boring. i`m lookin for something that`s not too fancy, something i can wear everyday to school and stuff. a look that would be cute for summer.

The best thing to do then is probably to dye it, it`s not as if you`ll have to "do" it every morning. You should wear it down, you can`t really appreciate long(ish) hair unless you do.

thanks! the only problem is, i already did dye it reddish-brown, and when i wear it down it gets really messy and looks as if i just woke up.

If your willing to sacrifice lenght why not go for something shorter, if you want a more interesting look, I suggest layers. A cut look is the angled a line bob, where it is shorter in the back and longer in the front, you should get some layers that follow the angle bob short to long layers, what is nice about this look is if you get the back cut short, you can funk it out or where it down, depending on your mood. If you leave your front to about bottom lip length, it can be blown dry so it look all one length or you can pomade it and make it look layered, depending on your mood it`s a versatile cut, which can be sexy, classy, traditional, and funky.
