Hey, I`m new here :) My name is Chris and I have long black hair down to the middle of my back. It`s kinda fine, but that doesn`t bother me much....Anyhoo some questions.

1. Which is healthier for your hair: brushing or combing?? I ususally comb my hair starting at the ends and working my way up.

2. Is wearing a ponytail healthy for your hair?? I`ve heard some people say yes and some say no. Normally I only wear it in a ponytail when I`m at work and if the weather outside is bad. Other than that I wear it down.

Hi Chris,
I guess I can help you with your questions....
When you havea choice, comb, especially when it`s wet. I really only break out my brush in the evenings when I`ve already combed my hair and I want to get some more shine in my hair. As for a pony tail, I`ve never had probelms with them unless you put the tie on really tight, then you can break or bend the hair. I used to be a ballet dancer and had to pull my hair back in a bun every day, the only problems I had were when I took my hair down it had funky waves and curls in it.
