i''m 15/male and my hair seems to be thinning at an alarming rate..i recently changed my hairdresser and perhaps he cuts it thinner than the previous one but it seems like i''m just trying to make excuses...i wash my hair daily with L''Oreal Elvive Revitalising (citrust.cr) shampoo...its mainly the fringe that seems alot thinner than it used to be and also the fringe hairline seems to be receeding (this could be my imagination)...i have a few spots around the roots of my fringe hair and i think they are there because the oils from the hair roots escape onto the skin and so on..anyway, i am wondering what i can do to get my hair back to its former thickness...thanks

You must figure out if this is really happening. If it is you should go to a doctor and get a physical.... could be a medical problem. Ask about your family -heredity does play a role in hair loss. Did any of your relatives have early hair loss?

I went through pretty much the same thing. You should get a simple blood test to check your thyriod. If that is fine there is an over the counter mineral Biotin. It is very inexpensive around $5.00 a bottle. It really helps.
