Is it straight, wavy, curly? Face shape? Really need to know some of these answers plus maybe your lifestyle and attitude...For example, if you have straight hair, oval face shape and fiery attitude - I think a choppy, wild chin length cut would work.

Yeah I'm going to be cutting my hair soon too but don't really know exactly what style I should get it.My hair is naturally thick but I have it permed so its straight. My head shape is round and my hair is up to the bottom of my neck any suggestions of what cut I should get.I want it short enough so it won't be on my neck because I'm always playing sports (*basketball,*tennis etc.).

hi hot sauce,
have u thought about having an inverted bob with the nape shaved off to the skin??
i suppose if u were feeling very brave u could go for a short pixie.

strangerfromuk,
Several days ago I asked you to choose one "handle"... one name or nickname. Instead, you have chosen to increase the number of nicknames you use.
strangerfromuk = ohmandy = snipfred = Ricci = Chuck = kyleene.
Your participation here is appreciated, but disguising yourself as many people is not.
Therefore, I am telling you -- pick one name. If I see any more posts of your posts under any new name, I will delete it, and have you blocked.
[Edited to add "kyleene" to the list of names, and add the next-to-last paragraph.]

hi moderator,
i'm sorry but it seems myself and another person have chosen to use the same name.
i'm not the 'strangerfromuk' who uses different names, when ever i post a message or reply on any boards on this site i use the name strangerfromuk.
if its helps i will not use the name 'strangerfromuk' anymore if its going to cause problems.
yours
richard

Hi strangerfromuk,
No problem, use "strangerfromuk" if you want.
Turns out I was mistaken about your post. "Only" the Ricci and Chuck and snipfred and ohmandy names are "at fault." I accidentally caught you and kyleene up. I'm sorry. I hope you, and kyleene, accept my apology.

Hi sunshine boy, and thanks for your kind words (though Karen, and Jeff, deserve the credit) for the website. I merely keep an eye on the boards to react to spam, trolls, and personal attacks... and participate in discussions as normal.
To answer your question... a pixie is a short layered haircut on a girl or woman.

Pixie cuts are pretty :-) . The actual length and style of one varies according to whom you ask, but I think the most agreed upon definition is about an inch or two long, in layers. Some people insist it's only a pizie if it's worn framing the face, but I don't think it's a requirement. Some of the prettiest celebs have worn them, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Mia Farrow, Halle Berry, Winona Ryder, Sharon Stone, Alyssa Milano, etc. It's one of the best styles, I think, especially for showing off a pretty face :-) .
