hello, i'm new here, i was wondering, i want my girfriend to grow her hair but i dont know how to approach this situation, please help

Yeah, I see what you mean. If you just outright tell someone something like that, they might get insecure, wondering, "Doesn't so-and-so think I'm fine just the way I am??" It depends on how good of friends you are. My best friend told me "you should grow your hair out" and I took the suggestion right off the bat.
All right... pick a pretty longhaired movie star she looks like, and say, "You know, you'd look just like _________ if you had longer hair!" Then cross your fingers and hope.
