Near the end of the year I will get a trim and I was just wondering what is better a straight across blunt cut or a u shape, I like them both. It is pretty much a blunt cut at the moment. What do you guys think,
Thanks

The answer is .................... It's up to you and which one you want.
There is no right or wrong.
What one do you want?

Both have their pros and cons, in my opinion. I agree with PB that it depends on your tastes (and what your tolerances are).
(1) Depends on length. Blunt may look better on hair shorter than hip length, and vice versa. (2) Blunt cuts are easier to bun or braid, because it doesn't have the slight layering. (3) U shaped cuts match the curves of the human body and looks more natural.
