I use the following, depending on the kind of wave I want:
--damp bunning (then the bun is taken out when the hair is finally dry)
--damp braiding overnight
--folding (I literally fold the hair like a jacob's ladder and tie a scrunchie around its "waist"

Tried any of these yet?

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry... Your question is very popular among chicks. Hair Talk's men's hair board gets into this topic a lot I think. Have you tried your question there? They've recently had a discussion on waving.

sorry about the confusion.
