How would you do big hair? I have asian hair and it's hard but uhh I tried mousse and spraying it and curling it up but it doesn't stay up. For example, I want my hair like this:

It's called backcombing or teasing.
Apply mouse or some other kind of product to your hair. Then pull up undersections and run the comb back from the ends to the roots, catching some of the hair and pushing it back. This will make teased sections, which will look fluffy.
When you are done, smooth over the top and spray into place.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

Haha, sorry I'm hair illiterate but what are undersections? I don`t understand your instructions...but can you translate it into something I can understand for hair dummies? I appreciate your reply. Ty! :\

I think you are supposed to like pick up a section of hair and comb the side you can't see from the front from the ends to the roots. I think you can use a brush or a comb. I think you spray the top like after you smooth it. I've never done it because it's bad for your hair and my hair is already naturally huge. But I don't think you are supposed to tease the very front section of hair or your hair will look messy. Here I found an article on backcombing.
