Date Posted: January 12 2000 at 1:15am I'm a twelve year old Indian girl living in the U.S. I have had waist length hair for about 3 years, but have not taken any special care of it. Last summer, tightly coiled strands of hair started appearing in my naturally staight hair. Why and what can I do to fix it? The curls stick out all over the place. I suggest you put a leave-in conditionner (check out Aveda's!!!) in your hair after washing it.
