Does any women here have the problem of suffering from headaches due to very long hair especially when you put it up? If so, how can you prevent the headaches and why do they occur? Thanks.

Jason....The only time that I have experienced headaches from putting my hair up is when I pull it too tight into either a ponytail or a bun. Also...if I use a clip with a lot of "teeth" it will hurt as well.It is actually not good for you to pull your hair too tight....it can cut off the circulation to your scalp and even damage future hair growth. The solution seems to be a looser ponytail or bun. Chopsticks also allow for a "softer" style.Regards,Karen
