Today, after my experience with the AURA's conditioner, I went to an Aveda Store to get some more Curessence and while I was there I decided to buy some of the Beautifying oil. I asked the saleperson how often to use it and she said every night. That seems to be alot. I would like to know how other people use it. Any suggestions? She said to massage it into my scalp each night, but I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week.. wouldn't that tend to make my scalp too oily? I have heard people massage it all over their hair and leave it on overnight. I would love to hear from the Aveda oil users! Cher

Hi Cher,I use it before each shampoo. I put it on the ends and leave it in over night. If I don't have time for that I put it on the ends and wrap my hair in a hot moist towel for a half hour or so. Then I wash it out with Aveda's Shampure. I love how it makes my hair feel. I have been using it for about 6 weeks and still have a half of a bottle. I only use it on my ends (the bottom 18 inches or so)as that is where my hair is the driest. It will make your hair look greasy until you wash it out, and a little goes a long way. I have been told to mix it with Olive oil for a hot oil treatment, but I haven't had the chance yet. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks, Karen, (again and again) for turning me on to it.Noreen> Today, after my experience with the AURA's> conditioner, I went to an Aveda Store to get some> more Curessence and while I was there I decided> to buy some of the Beautifying oil.
