It is supposedly a "gentle" relaxer to help tame frizz. Its key ingredients are ammonium thioglycolate (a mild straightener) and ICMC (wheat protein to add luster). It still may be somewhat damaging to the hair, so I was curious about it! I am willing to try it, since the gels, balms, sprays, oils and everything else I have tried are only doing a temporary job to smooth my dry, wavy hair!!
