Hello, my hair reaches to my buttocks. Next time I'm on holiday and there I want swimming in the ocean. Can you give me any tips how I care my hair, because salt-water and sun can damage it. Tommi

Tommi Did u ever think about putting your hair in a double bun? This should help tremendously. Otherwise, you should use some conditioner on your hair before going into the salt water. Rinse it out when u get out and most of all wear a hat if you are going to be sitting in the sun.

TommiTry checking out Phyto's PhytoPlage line... it's all stuff for beach/sun exposed hair. I've been using their sun protectant oil for a few months now and I've been really pleased with it.The most important thing you can do though if you're swimming in the ocean is to immediately wash the ocean water out of your hair and condition it. You really don't want all those salt crystals baking into your hair... it makes it yucky.-jennifer

Jennifer,Could you tell me more about the PhytoPlage. Do you use it only when you go to the beach or do you use it all the time when going out in the sun? I have not yet tried it but have heard really wonderful things about it. My problem is finding it in Dallas. If you think it is great I certainly want to try it out myself. Thanks,Karen> Try checking out Phyto's PhytoPlage line...> it's all stuff for beach/sun exposed hair.
