Hello! I've been lurking on this board for several months now. Everyone seems so nice and helpful that I finally decided to post. I have layered, collar-length hair. I had below the shoulder hair six months ago but had to get it cut because of perm damage. Anyway, I'm trying to find a shampoo and conditioner that will make my hair smoother with less flyaways. Even before the damage, my hair had a tendency to frizz. My hair is fine in texture (but not thin), color-treated, and still has some remaining perm on the ends (I couldn't bear to go any shorter). I'm letting it grow back out. I've read all the great comments about Aveda and am waiting for Karen's Artec review. Currently, I'm using Biolage hydrating shampoo and conditioner with Artec's smoothing serum. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Hi,I apologize for the delay in posting my ARTec review. Time seems to get away from me at times. :-)I can tell you that not only I but Jeff and Michael have all tried ARTec Smoothing AND ARTec Kiwi and we love it. Cher will be testing the ARTec Smoothing soon too. (I hope).Let me tell you about Jeff, Michael and the ARTec Smoothing. Jeff has suffered through several of the hair care tests and so has Michael. They would both groan when I would haul out my latest sample like Aura or Abba or whatever. So when I hauled out the ARTec they wrinkled their noses. Well I begged them to try it for just a few days. Guess what....one month later, we ordered it in the largest sizes we could find and all three of us are using it and loving it.Jeff, who has gorgeous hair, and is very picky, loves the ARTec. His hair has never been softer or shinier or better looking. My hair does really great on the ARTec Smoothing. I have tried all kinds of combinations from ARTec Smoothing shampoo and conditioner to Aveda Shampure and Smoothing conditioner and ARTec Smoothing shampoo and Aveda Curessence. That combination of Smoothing & Curessence is a major WOW.I actually have review of Aura, ARTec Smoothing and Kiwi and Joico Integrity. They are still in my head and need me to just make the priority to type them up. We have literally 25 new things to post on Hair Boutique over the next few weeks and somehow I always think the celebrity interviews and guest articles are more important.I will try to write the product reviews up so everyone can read them. Michael is now testing Hairobics from George Carroll and likes it. I will test it after him and maybe I can get Jeff to try it. I am not sure, he has not loved a product like ARTec since Aveda 5 years ago.I had another male friend test the Smoothing and he did not like it as much as Aveda Blue Malva because he has thin hair and felt the Smoothing made his hair too soft and flat.ARTec Smoothing is great for color treated or dry hair. The Kiwi is less moisturizing than the Smoothing, but still very good.I caution against the color formulas by ARTec. They did seem to make my hair drier. The Smoothing and KIWI made my hair soft and silky and very shiny.Thank you very very much for coming out of lurk mode. I wish everyone would...at least for just one day. :-)Post if you want more information. I love to talk about products. :-)Best wishes,KarenPS. If you decide to try it.... I want to let you know that the WWW Beauty Store is a great place to shop online. I have been shopping there for a couple of weeks and can not find better prices anywhere else. They really kick butt out of retail or salon prices and they are fast, dependable and the greatest people in the world. Be sure and tell them that Hair Boutique sent you. Ace and Mickhael are good people.> Hello! I've been lurking on this board for> several months now. Everyone seems so nice and> helpful that I finally decided to post.
