dear karen and jeff,
i was just wondering if you have had anymore thoughts on a short hair board. i really think it would be more of a hit than say the dreadlocks board...well thank you for such a wonderful place to talk about hair

A short hair forum! I'm a gal who loves short and sassy styles. I like to sport this kinda style and would love to have board to visit that was dedicated to short styles!

I vote no. After all they have the HairTalk board for ALL hair talk. Next there will be a request for a blondes only board and a split ends board and a redheads board. UGH. I think there are too many boards already. I know I have time getting to all of them. Just my opinion.

I hear what you are all saying and I understand the ongoing interest factor for new topics. I appreciate your feedback and hope you will always feel free to post your requests. So thank you very much.
As I have said in the past...the biggest problem with creating more boards is keeping them active. Right now I personally read all the posts on every board a few times a day. I also have volunteers who email me when trolls or other mischief making posts occur. However, quite frankly, neither Jeff nor I have the free bandwidth to personally support another board.
So here is the deal.....if someone wants a new Topic Board like Short Hair and they are willing to act as a volunteer moderator I will personally create the new board for the suggested new topic. Of course it has to be appropriate and within reason :-).
