Date Posted: January 12 2000 at 2:05am Hello,A friend of mine went to a big name salon and unfortuantley she did not ask prices before she had her hair washed and cut. The cut did turn out really nice, but they charged her $150 for a shampoo and a cut and blow dry. Is this normal for Houston? I was shocked. I would expect prices like this is NYC, but not in Houston.I go to Supercuts because I wear my hair very short (it is very hot here in Texas) and so I only pay $25-30 for a wet cut. Is there a recommended price to pay?I guess the lesson here is to always ask details. I am just glad it was not me. I would have flipped at those prices.Just curious.Darla
