will somebody please help me? i have damaged with repeated coloring my shoulder length curly hair and find it very dry. i've already tried ouidad and do not like it as much as jheri redding products. maybe because of the extent of damage to my hair. i do not have tons of split ends--just dryness. other than the color, i have always been very gentle with my hair, conditioning, no dryer etc. so i think it's salvageable. the problem is that using a silicone product is the only thing that makes my hair feel nice again. am i causing more damage? i notice that after 3 days of use, i have to lay off it. also, why does ouidad say that silicones are drying to the hair, and there is silicone in the shine serum? i use jheri redding frizz out in the indigo bottle and have found it to be the best consistency for my hair. cheap, too, and contains some panthenol. but is there any product out there that will do the same sort of thing but without silicone? also, i can't find the aveda beautifying composition on wwbeauty where is it? thanks
