I along with jennifer have long hair and its pretty thick, pretty straight but frizzy and I have these frizzy bangs that I try to keep back.My hair is dark brown. My ends are splitty but I have that problem solved. I also along with jennifer am looking for a new style. My parents won't let me cut my hair, but to let you know, The style in my school is straight, non-frizzy, brown hair. My hair isn't really frizzy, but just only a little. It comes below mid-back. I can dye it because last time I did which was like 5 years ago and it didn't damage any . But can anyone suggest something to tame this little bit of frizz that I have? P.s Can it be something that I can find at most stores. P.P.s would a hot oil treatment help?

Do you usually have waves If you let your hair dry naturally? Sometimes people's hair can change from slightly wavey to curly, like mine. If so, try this: After washing, conditioning, and towel-drying, put on some Infusuim leave-in treatment. I have shoulder-length hair and I use about a tablespoon-full. Brush your hair once. Then start scrunching it, starting from the ends of your hair and scrunch up to your scalp. Flip your head over and dry it at a low setting while scrunching. This process will not only keep your hair from frizzing, but will bring out the best in those natural curls. Don't brush your hair again until the next wash. You could invest in a diffuser which will make your hair even curlier.Let me know if this helps.Kristin ;o)

To Dee from Jennifer: Yesterday, I had my hair cut chin length with long layers, & had the ends texured, & the sides of my growing out bangs angled. My hair didn't frizz when airdried & it didn't look big or poufy. Lately, I have been experimenting with different hair products. My favorites are KMS Sculpting Lotion (really keeps frizz from forming, available at Rite Aid & CVS), & Paul Mitchell Foaming Pomade (available same places). Try deep conditioning twice a week with Queen Helene's Colestral(available at Walmart & drug stores). After you apply it put on a shower cap then wrap your head with hot towels (put in the drier for about 15-30 mins) & leave it on for an hour. If you blowdry it staight, use Thermasilk (available at Walmart, drugstores, etc) conditioner & the leave in conditioner + some straightening balm( I haven't found one I like yet). Blowdry with a paddle brush. Whatever you do don't use products that are supposed to keep the hair from frizzing such as Frizz Ease. These products repel moisture which dries out the hair in long run. Its a quick fix that makes your hair seem healthier than it is. For me hot oil teatments don't work but using olive oil does. An inch cut off to get rid of died &/or spit ends might help. Ask your styist to texture the ends of your hair (it doesn't change the length). E-mail me if you have any questions. Once you find the right style & hair care routine you'll love your hair. It took me awhile but I'm finally getting thingd figured out.
