Hi Jenna,Jeff and I looked into providing a chat room when we first opened Hair Boutique.We even seriously considered doing it. However, we visited several other "chat rooms" for similar hair & beauty sites and they were like ghost towns.People seem to prefer posting to a board like this where everyone can come and go at any time and see the discussions. With a chat room, you have to be there or you miss it.Anyway, I really appreciate & thank you for your suggestion. Jeff and I are always happy when people have new ideas because we need feedback from all of you.As a non related topic :-) .....I just got back from a mini visit at a health spa here in Dallas and got about a million hours of sleep (well it felt like it anyway) :-)So watch out. I have all my cyclinders back and am planning on doing a lot to the site this week. :-)If anyone has any other suggestions, please post them because this is the time to catch me. I think I agree about not having a chat. There is no way I could do a chat, but I can always log on late and nite and catch up on the board. But the problem with chat rooms is that they tend to degenerate into mindless chatter and attract mindless overly hormonal boys. The advantage to having the discussion forums is that the discussions tend to be informative and answers are generally well thought out. Plus the threads live on.
