I have medium legth hair. And my hair is sooo frizzy. I have tried many different shampoos, conditioners, and seriums, but nothing seems to work. I there any thing out there that can help me get rid of the frizz ASAP.Thank You.Robert

Hi Robert,Sorry to hear about your frizzies. There are several things you can try to help with the problem. One is to close the hair shaft after shampooing by doing a cold/cool water rinse. This will always help a lot. Be sure not to shampoo your hair in anything but lukewarm water.The second thing is to make sure you use a good moisturizing shampoo. Frizz often happens because the hair is either too dry or because the hair shaft is open and can be picking up moisture.The third thing to do is use a good conditioner. A lot of time a leave in conditioner will work better than a rinse out conditioner because a leave in will soak into the hair shaft and provide a layer of protection from external moisture or environmental things that can make your hair frizzy.What products work best? I can't tell you my opinion on specific products for fizz because I normally don't fight frizz. However I can tell you that ARTec's Smoothing shampoo is a wonderful remoisturizer and of course Aveda's Shampure.Also a good leave in conditioner is Aveda's Elixer. A good detangler is ARTec's Kiwi detangler or Aveda's Shampure.If your hair is curly, you may want to look at ouidad's site at www.ouidad.com. She makes products that were specifically formulated for frizzy hair. She specializes in curly hair. That is also in the articles section. I use a product by Graham Webb call Curl Defining Texturizer, it works really well for me. I also noticed there is a new line out by KMS called Flat Out, they have a product called Flat Out Hair Prepare it is supposed to end frizz frustration.
