As I sit down and have to reach into my inner soul I realized the female is the most powerful creature in the univers as she gives birth to the future generation. She teaches boys to become men and girls to become women. She is the warrior of peace , love and unity. She is the most beautiful creation on earth that is fulll of mystery, love, gentleness , openess , and intelligents. She is so powerful that she can bring down empires. For this reason I am so hurt to see how many women attack each other in society because of jealous , lack of self confidence. Only if we could change this so that our society would be kinder and we wouldn't hurt each other feelings with opinions about hair etc.In so many ways a man is also powerful in this world as has the power with his opinions to bring peace and kindness around him..Sadly enough he is so confused because he feels that being a gentleman and romance is out the door because the quality of life we females demanded and yet if they only knew how wrong they are on that thought.Every female needs to feed her inner self and strenghtened her inner beauty as she is beautiful, graceful, elegant and everything that the word beautiful means.If every woman would feed their inner self we see peace, no jealous among us and can you imagine how powerful we as human beings would be to work together.As I sat in the office of the female president that I lost my job with I looked at her and she was a very beautiful short hair blond but I could cry because she couldn't see how she was harming herself as she didn't feed her inner soul and she became so jealous of what if... but only if she knew she was the one with power and yet she was so powerful and took the coward way out..What will it take for us as a society to say that we can wear our hair as we desire and not to be look down as being out of date, out of style? What will it take as a society to say to men its okay to have long hair to be a programmer, a pyschologist, a lawyer, an accountant etc? Hair is so harmless and yet many of those sites are threathened by people are who hate people who have hair. The sadness is that these people need to love themselves to be happy.We as human being having hair or no hair are people that need to be loved, to be respected and work together in harmony. Yes hair doesn't make a person but we as humans have a right to choice the way we want our head to look like and its our responsibility on earth to bring peace and we on this site and others on the internet have the power to do so and that is what we should fight for the freedom to look the way we want.Diane

Dear Diane,I empathise with you : yes, it is true that there are many people out there who dislike and criticise those who choose to keep their hair long. I have shoulder length hair and decided to keep my hair longer since visiting TLHS and Hair Boutique. I have been wrecking my hair for several years now with colours, striped bleaches and straighteners, blow-dryers and layering. I don't do these anymore since I found the Internet sites, but I'm not putting off straightening entirely :)My relatives like to make annoying comments about my length, and of course all of them have the shortest crops imaginable!! One has even criticised the fact that I like visiting long hair sites and says I am too preoccupied with my looks. Now we all know maintaining long hair is an investment, so to keep it healthy and shiny we must spend a certain amount of maintenance on it. It is truly a pity thatpeople like to impose their values on others. It would be good if some readers would provide messages of support for their friends in times like these.Regards, Christine
