I wear my hair shoulder lengh and in layers (I have very thick hair). When my hair dresser styles my hair, it always comes out silky straight. When I try to style my hair it never comes out the same especially in the back. I have tried using round brushes and rollers. But that doesn't work very well. Do you have any sugesstions???

I have the same thick hair and layers like you. The hair dresser gets it silky because it's all in the blow drying. I have found that actually using a cream straightener works to get rid of the thickness and bulk, making the hair look flatter. I also suggest laying off the blow drying as in my experience, air-drying gets it quite smooth after combing it down after a wash. Hope this helps!Christine
