Yep, me again. I figured since so many people have taken interest and tried to help on this whole theatrical hair torture episode I'd keep people filled in on the latest.Last night was second dress rehersal, thus second hair torture night. Since we knew exactly how my hair would react my stylist didn't have to tease it so much. Instead of severe teasing lets just call it lots of teasing. The hair on the crown still got the worst of it, but the back and ends didn't need as much. We tried using one of the hairsprays that is supposed to be more gentle and combable but considering the amount we have to use for this style I really can't say I noticed a heck of a lot of difference. Any hair spray in massive doses becomes sticky.For the record, the rehearsal went great and we are ready for our opening this weekend.Afterwards I tried using Tamaras advice and jumped in the shower and globbed on Conditioner and got all the hairspray out. I then wrapped it in a towel, then let it dry overnight while I slept. This morning using oils to help it detangle it only took 2 hours (instead of 4) to get it back to normal. I think some of the speed is also because of all the practice I got last time but the missing hair spray and slippery oils definitely made a difference. I'm not sure how much damage it has undergone in it's two torture sessions. I do know I have 9 more to go, including 2 this weekend. I am giving huge amounts of TLC as per everyones advice on non-performance days. I also know that I mentally am conceeding that this is all necessary, etc... for the performance and just racking it up to experience and trying to keep a smile on my face. I'm sure some day I'll look back on all this as an enjoyable and fun time in my life. I'll certainly have a great hair story to tell people in the future.As always, to anyone with knowledge of how to undo VERY teased, VERY sprayed, VERY long hair I would love to hear from you on your advice.Thanks again to all who have supported me and helped me on this whole venture.Stephanie
