I have been going through this problem for one degree or another since I was a child.My hair is a very dark brown with some red and sometimes a few golden highlights. You really don't see the highlights unless I am in sunlight or underneath a lamp or something. However, in the summer, I can get areas of my hair which the sun has lightened tremendously. Usually, these few strands seem to darken as the fall and winter months progress.The same thing has happened this summer, but more so because I have been out in the sun more this year. I like my dark locks--no offense to the blondes out there-and would like to hasten a more even tone to my hair.Any of you experts out there have any advice?Thanks in advance.Jade21
